Private Jerry Morrow Completes Training At Fort Benning
Private Jerry E. Morrow, wife Kathleen and parents Eugene and Mrs. Morrow of Norwalk Route 4, completed seven weeks of advanced training at Fort Benning Georgia. The program covered weapons qualifications, squad tactics, patrolling, landmine warfare, field communications and combat operations, qualifying him as a light weapons infantryman and indirect fire crewman. He entered the Army in September 1977. Registrations open for Norwalk Public Library winter preschool story hour for three and four year olds, Thursdays 10 to 10 45 a.m. First session begins Jan 19.
