A Norwalk girl, Laurie Casper, 17, remained in fair condition at Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital after a car she rode in skidded into a fence at Webb Settlement Road and Huber Road. Driver Terry Staneart, 17, uninjured. Back injuries reported for Casper. A separate crash south of New Haven killed a horse after a collision with a car driven by Jeane L. Sloan.
