Willard rejects snowmobile ordinance at council meeting
Willard City Council defeated snowmobile regulations 5 2 amid claims enforcement would be a nightmare. Chief Seiple condemned the rule limiting operation to and from work or a business, noting police could not chase such vehicles. Four complaints and one citation were reported this year. Howard Resigns From Plymouth School Board
Plymouth The Plymouth Board of Education accepted the resignation of David Howard after the council ruled his holding two elective offices created a conflict of interest. Howard argued his reading of the law might allow dual service, but the council’s stance prompted his departure in a letter of resignation. He lamented the situation as ironic and disappointing given claims of apathy and non involvement.
