Wallace abandons acupuncture in bid to walk again
Gov. George C. Wallace has dropped acupuncture as a treatment to aid his walk. The last session was in Montgomery in November by Dr. Ling Sun Chu of New York City. Chu returned December 15 for a social function and predicted Wallace could walk by the 1976 presidential election if treated further, but supporters did not share the optimism.

Grand Jury to Hear Prisoner Assault Case in Huron Jail
Sheriff Borgia said investigators will present the jail assault to the Huron County Grand Jury. Four inmates are suspected of beating Ronald D. Rust 18 of Willard, who was treated at Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital for chest and limb injuries after the early Tuesday attack.
