Prostitute Charged With Tax Evasion in Miami Trial
Carol Ann Citrin, 27, of Hallandale Florida, stands trial in U S District Court on income tax evasion charges. She has paid 128000 dollars in taxes for six years while the government alleges earnings of 160360 dollars and incomplete records for 1972 and 1973. If convicted she faces up to four years in prison and 40000 dollars in fines. Citrin, acting as her own attorney, says she struggles with math and tax forms.
