Berlin Hrs Couple Makes Rock Tables From Hobby Work
Warren and Mrs. Lightfoot of Berlin Heights turned a retirement hobby into a business making gemstone rock tables. They create tables from 18 inch squares to four feet, using about 30 rock varieties such as tiger eye obsidian and picture rock. Warren cuts 1/8 to 1/4 inch layers with a diamond saw, sells finished pieces, and can shape any outline by using a wood and metal form.
