After clearance from a Sandusky heart specialist he set Norwalk HS 2 mile record of 9 37 and finished sixth in the state meet at Columbus with 9 55.

Ohio retail sales rise only slightly in November 1974
The Center of Business and Economic Research at Ohio State University reports Ohio retail sales in November 1974 up just one per cent from November 1973. For the first 11 months, sales are eight per cent higher than the prior year. Durable goods saw declines as household appliance stores drop 24 per cent, auto dealers and furniture stores 15 per cent. General stores with food rose 25 per cent.
