Fire destroys Willard home on Woodland Avenue
An overheated oven caused a fire that destroyed a two story yellow house at 357 Woodland Ave in Willard on Tuesday. Mrs Patricia Collins fled with two boys and a sister while the children were unharmed and Collins was treated for shock at Willard Area Hospital before release. Fire Chief John Yacob said firefighters battled the blaze for over an hour with about 20 men.

Newton Dies at 86. longtime Gulf Oil executive and philanthropist
