An assistant to Mayor Dennis Kucinich was named acting director of Cleveland's Emergency Medical Service after the firing of the top four administrators. Norwalk police cited John E. Lieber, 17, after his westbound auto slid left of center and struck a car driven by Holly B. Lane, 35, at the Pleasant Elm Street curve around 11 a.m. Lane treated for left hip pain. Lieber faces failure to control charges. Lane’s car and the other involved vehicle were damaged.
