Two Norwalk firefighters assisted a choking man at Reineck's Tavern, Russell Barnhart of Alpine Trail Huron was hospitalized in critical condition with a heart attack. The same day, 775 4 H club members Kiwanis and 4 H leaders attended the A Grade banquet at Norwalk Junior High. Towne and Country Players announced Charlie Brown scenes for this weekend. Food bills to rise again as prices skyrocket

Hearst abducted February 4 from Berkeley apartment. two assailants fled with a black conspirator and a white woman aboard a station wagon and a convertible.

Damaged Bond Court Hotel Under Construction Collapses
A portion of the $18 million Bond Court Hotel under construction in Cleveland collapsed after a Thursday night fire caused apparent structural damage. Explosions were reported from bursting propane tanks as workers on the 16th floor observed the northwest corner give way. Downtown buildings were closed and traffic rerouted while contractors and authorities assess the damage. the hotel was slated for completion next February with bookings already in progress for five years.
