Norwalk Council Revises Doorstep Sales Ordinance

The Norwalk council sent a twice amended door-to-door selling ban back to committee to consider a dark hours restriction. The measure would require sellers to hold a service director permit, with Avon ladies and other groups facing shorter agent permit waits. A revised poolroom ordinance also received first reading, limiting under 16s from pool after 8 pm unless with an adult, and shifting Sunday closing rules.
