Former Norwalk French Teacher Bid au Revoir
Former Norwalk High School French teacher Mrs. Robert Virginia Stewart resigned after a job transfer. An au revoir party for Stewart was held by her French III class at her James Street apartment where eleven students entered via back and front doors after Carla Doubledee, disguised as an elderly buyer, entered to lure them in. The students brought crepes and other refreshments and presented a charm bracelet with an Arc De Triomphe charm and a quip reading Quel dommage.
