Delianides Tops Norwalk Spending in November Election
In Norwalk and surrounding towns several candidates filed campaign expense reports with Huron County, led by Dorothy Delianides who spent $403.63 in a losing bid for the Norwalk Board of Education, finishing fourth of six. Alfred W. Smith failed to file, while Eugene Rieske and John A. Elmlinger also reported notable expenditures. The Norwalk Community Center Corporation and other groups spent money on campaigns, with totals over $100 for eight committees. Smith receives Ohio law penalties but may complete his four year term with a one year post term restraint.
