Columbia Gas of Ohio introduces a modern computerized billing plan for Norwalk area customers. Meter readings occur every other month while monthly bills continue, using 13 months of usage, weather adjustments, and billing period length to compute charges.
Cedar Point Inc directors vote a two for one split of common shares and seek stockholder approval at a special meeting set for 2 p m January 26 at Cedar Point to increase authorized shares from 500000 to 1500000. Outstanding shares total 376498. Distribution of new shares to follow in February 1968. Action reflects company growth.
Robert Patton 35 of North Fairfield received emergency room care at Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital after bumping his arm on a truck cab while spot welding at Superior Coach Inc. He was released after treatment. Also treated and released was Jacob Hinton 17 of Wakeman who was involved in a school fight in which his lip was injured.
