Norwalk Police Station Remodeling Delayed Past Deadline
Norwalk’s police station remodeling by Roth Construction is overdue beyond the Friday deadline. Mayor Wayne Goodsite and City Engineer Jim Widman say completion will likely slip until after year’s start, noting no penalty clause in the contract. Ceiling tiles, flooring, heating, plumbing fixtures for jail cells, and some work remain. The police department continues housed in rear city hall rooms during the project.
