Dr. John K. McDivitt recalls a 1944 Christmas Eve in a bombed railway depot near Libramont Belgium. Twelve to fourteen GIs, Protestant Catholic and Jewish men gathered under fire to sing Silent Night and It Came Upon the Midnight Clear.
