In New York Minnie Towns aged 77 pleaded guilty to selling heroin to minors in State Supreme Superior Court. Judge John R. Starkey denied probation. defense said prison would be deadly for Towns.
Herbert W. Hoover III heir to a vacuum cleaner fortune will marry Camilla Sparr a Swedish actress in a formal seaside ceremony at a Miami Beach Congregational Church By The Sea at 5 p.m. Rev. Dr. George W. Penn to perform. About 165 guests attend with a reception at Indian Creek Country Club for the 25 year old couple.
