Norwalk Woman Elected President of San Valley Recovery Board
Norwalk resident Vivian Gerten was chosen as president of the San Valley Alcoholic Recovery Residence board of directors at the annual meeting. Sword Leaving Coop For North Central Electric
Sword leaves Firelands Electric Cooperative where he has worked since July 1974 and will become assistant manager at North Central Electric. A Wellington native and New London village council member, he plans to live in New London and commute to Attica, beginning Jan. 2.

New Social Security Films Debut in Erie-Huron County
Two new films about Social Security titled The Third Day and SSI Can Make the Difference are now available to groups in Erie Huron County. The Sandusky Social Security office distributes both films and can arrange a qualified speaker. Metric Class Opens in New London ABE Program
A metric system course starts December 14 at New London High School as part of the Adult Basic Education program. Nine or ten lessons run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 7 to 9 30.
