Water surcharge ruling favors Milan Motel case
Milan Village Motel owner Ed Leveritt asked to remove the 20 percent water surcharge. Village solicitor John Pfefferle ruled the ordinance should not apply to the Milan Village Motel and BPA Chairman Harold Albright will have the surcharge removed. The BPA plans a council amendment to include commercial properties. The board also noted a tentative Ohio Edison rate increase agreement affecting resale power and will seek building inspector action on the old Temple building sewer connection. Bills totaling 34 217 were paid. Kaiser Open golf at Silverado in Napa next Oct. 15 to 21, 1973.
