Willard Seeks Federal Aid for Urban Planning Project
Willard City Council adopts three emergency measures. It plans to seek urban planning assistance under the Housing Act of 1954, funds a $20,000 comprehensive plan by Turner and Associates with expected two thirds federal grant, and enters a contract with Turner if approved. An ordinance raises fines for resisting an officer and drunkenness offenses, and purchases a year’s oxygen supply. A zoning amendment, hearings set for January 17, and notices about new professional offices in residential zones are discussed.
