Willard man acquitted after assault with intent to rape trial

Nelson C. Hendricks, 27, of Willard, was acquitted by a Common Pleas Court jury after a about hour of deliberation. He had been jailed since June 19 on charges of assault with intent to commit rape and posted a $2,500 bond on August 26. Dairy price signals spread as regional milks rise.

Thien Giao Falls to Viet Cong in Pre-dawn Strike

Viet Cong guerrillas launched a swift dawn assault northeast of Saigon and captured Thien Giao, a key rail town 100 miles away. Suspicious Persons Law Adopted By City Council

Nor walk City Council adopted a suspicious persons ordinance on third reading, banning loitering and unauthorized lodging with penalties up to 50 dollars.
