Golden 50th Wedding Anniversary for Kramer Ott Couple
Mr and Mrs Charles Kramer of Shaw Mill Road celebrate fifty years of marriage after tying the knot Sept 8 1915 at St Alphonsus Peru. The couple have three children and fourteen grandchildren. An anniversary mass is planned at St Pauls Norwalk followed by a noon dinner and 5 to 9 pm reception at Knights of Columbus Hall hosted by their children.

Three New Teachers Arrive at Norwalk High School
James Holmer of Attica will teach world history and American government at Norwalk High School this fall. He earned an AB from Heidelberg College and holds a temporary certificate. He enjoys reading, collecting books, and has a private library of over 1600 volumes. He is single. Mrs. Carl DeMaria will teach third grade at Benedict School. She holds a BS from Bowling Green State University and recently married. James Long will teach mathematics. he earned a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University in 1969 and plans to pursue citizenship education and science education goals. He is single. The trio resides at 222 West Main.

Service News Highlights Army and Navy Training Graduates
Private Jeffery J. Hartzel of Willard completed an eight week clerical course at Fort Knox with skills in typing and report preparation. Private Deer of Monroeville finished eight weeks of basic training at Fort McClellan. William D. Charville and Jon W. Charville, both from Monroeville, served aboard the USS Lake Champlain during space mission recovery operations. Airmen Charles F. Bozer of Bellevue and David L. Burrill of Wakeman were selected for technical training at Amarillo and Keesler AFB respectively. Boatswain's Mate Ralph Torralva of SCG competes with the Coast Guard Rifle Team at Camp Perry.
