Norwalk airport lease stance and runway lighting plans
Airport Authority members say they can only recommend, urging the city and county to consider the mayor’s views. Pilot concerns over lighting prompted discussion of a beacon and a mic-activated system. The authority approved $2 for information on the system and bids for sealing the runway with about $11,000 available. Night parking passes will be issued for cars left at the airport to be checked by the sheriff if not displayed.
