McCloskey Wife Files Divorce Over Irreconcilable Differences
Caroline McCloskey 43 wife of Republican Rep. Paul N. McCloskey filed for divorce in Redwood City California on grounds of irreconcilable differences after 23 years of marriage. The couple separated in June following McCloskey’s primary victory in California’s 17th District.

Woman Injured In Crash In Sandusky Area
Marilyn F. Meisler 46 of Sandusky was injured and taken to Memorial Hospital after her car collided with Richard P. Pflieger 52 who was stopped in a driveway on Ohio 4. Pflieger faced a charge of failure to yield the right of way. Roseann M. Binsack 18 of Sandusky was also charged with failure to yield after backing from a driveway and causing a collision with Virginia H. Ward 51 whose car rear bumped Binsack’s. Ward said her horn was sounded but Binsack did not hear it.

Dutch Engineer Visits Norwalk Touched by Agnes
Dike Vlaar from Amsterdam, 25, arrived in York Pa after a 40 minute bus ride and endured hurricane Agnes. He is visiting Norwalk friends this week and plans to tour Canada and the eastern states after leaving Friday. Vlaar worked at Camp Minqua in Boiling Springs Pa and was voted the camp’s most popular counselor. He came to the United States in June via the ICCP program and is a hydraulic engineer by trade. Miss Hupp, a vocal music teacher, invited him after a spur of the moment decision.

St Paul Norwalk students attend Ada Leadership Workshop
Jeanne Hohler Maureen Geoghan and Jan Waugh from St Paul and Norwalk High Schools joined a five day Leadership Training Workshop on the Ohio Northern campus. The event sponsored by the Ohio Association of Student Councils gathered student council representatives from across Ohio to discuss common school problems.
