Norwalk traveler ends Europe trip in Rome hospital
Mrs. Ross Stewart spent 25 days in an Italian clinic after a fall in a Rome hotel left her with a broken left hip. The couple, residents of Norwalk, continued their 21 day tour after initial delays caused by storms and floods. They journeyed from London to Switzerland and Naples to Capri and Pompeii before the accident. Mrs. Stewart required pins and a plate but no cast and began walking with a walker in seven days.
