Plans announced for seventh graders at Nor walk schools include 7:30 p.m. orientation sessions with tours of the new junior high facility. Principal Lowell C. Ruggles says students will receive schedules and teachers will guide small groups through the building. Classes start 8:30 a.m. daily with early arrivals not before 8:20 a.m.
Western Reserve school district students in grades 7 through 12 should report to the High School office the week of August 31 to register for classes starting September 8 with a full day on the first day. Junior and Senior High students report September 1 to pick up schedule cards and pay a 35 cent lock rental fee. The 1963 64 High School annual will be ready for pickup mid September. Ray Scheerer, High School Principal, asks annual purchasers to pick it up at the high school after official notice.
New London announces preseason schedule for the 1964 65 Marching 80 band. New members begin Monday at 10 a.m. All members meet daily Monday through Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Band director Leonard Mackles and assistant David Wenner begin their first year in the New London system.
