Defense Witnesses In Robinson Case Fail To Fully Appear
In Norwalk a defense attorney presented three witnesses who said they saw Larry D. Robinson after the April 6 car seizure but one unavailable witness did not show. Testimony included a 15 year old crying under cross examination and several inconsistencies about times and appearances. The case continues with Sheriff Borgia explaining out of state subpoenas and service logistics.

Yarborough 11 of Elk Grove California declared winner and will receive a 7500 dollar scholarship. Gronen is barred from future Derbys.

Record Fair Livestock Sale Sets 260 Animals Sold
A total of 80 bidders bought Junior Fair Livestock at the fairgrounds. The sale set a record with 260 animals sold for 50 038 dollars. Buyers include numerous Norwalk Bellevue and Willard firms and individuals.
Willard Scouts to Host Southwest Camporee at Camp Conger
Willard Boy Scout troops will host the fall Camporee of the Firelands Area Council's southwest district. About 500 scouts are expected September 21 to 23 at Camp Conger with a focus on survival. Troop 205 led by Don Buckingham, Troop 224 led by Dick Chambers, and Troop 277 led by Robert Durr participate.
