Willard Approves Two More Sewage Plant Operators
Willard council approves adding two operator positions at the sewage treatment plant bringing total to five as state pressure mounts. City Manager Michael Orenic says three posts are filled with one more to hire soon amid new emergency ordinances for plant needs.

District To Vote On Levy Again

Man Pleads Guilty To Housebreaking
Arnold E. Massie of Norwalk, 21, pleaded guilty to a July 1 housebreaking at 28 Cortland St. Norwalk police found him inside the home and he was placed on probation pending a judge’s probation report. Gerald R. Stewart, 22, of 14 Bank St., was sentenced to six months in the Toledo Workhouse but placed on probation after a guilty plea to statutory rape involving a 14-year-old girl.
