Missing City Securities Found After Audit Discrepancies
NY investigators say they located all but 84 000 of 5.4 million dollars in securities missing from the comptroller vault. An independent audit earlier indicated the securities were listed but not present. Officials credited original documentation and five comptroller staff for resolving the matter. A separate report from Sydney notes a six pound baby born aboard a Qantas 747 over Alice Springs with medical staff assisting.
