Survey Finds One Third Of Farmers Struggling In Drought
A UPI report says nearly a third of farmers borrowing from bankers in nine major states face trouble repaying loans due to drought and low prices for cattle and wheat. Six percent may have to sell out, with 14,000 unable to repay debt, in Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma where farms rely on livestock and wheat.

City to discard two step tax hike plan
