43 Names Drawn For Jury Duty In Common Pleas Court

A list of 43 Huron County residents is drawn for petit jury duty for the May term in Common Pleas Court. Those called include Austin Shadle Carrie Wolfe Darwin L Miller Rae B Preston Forrest Davis and other residents from Willard Monroeville Wakeman New London Norwalk and surrounding areas. They are to appear for their first case in court Monday.

Flag Incident At Wichita State Ends In Arrest

Leroy J. Peters, 20, a Wichita State University student, brought an American flag to campus on Wednesday and was arrested for defacing the flag. He was jailed in lieu of a $250 bond on the charge after the flag was sewn to his pants.
