Former Collins resident DeCelle Dague had his larynx removed due to cancer and now in northern Michigan uses a neck tube to breathe. After six months with no instructor he learned to talk and travels the country guiding others who lost their voice box, telling patients he will visit hospitals as caused by smoking.
Burt W. Zimmerman, 23, of 133 Woodlawn Ave., faces a drunken driving charge after a Tuesday crash on Lais Road west of U S 250. He drifted off the road into a telephone pole and was not treated for injuries.
