Option to file estimated income tax for farmers and fishermen
Huron County Auditor Kenneth W. Reed explains farmers and fishermen with at least two thirds of income from farming or fishing may file state personal income tax returns using the same method as federal rules. If choosing not to file a declaration the annual return is due by March 1 with tax paid in full. A combination method is available with different dates for fiscal year taxpayers.
