Judge Thomas E Heydinger stated Chief Probation Officer Marjorie Miller will seek a special school or foster home due to her right to left reading disability and weight problems. A welfare case worker is pursuing a suitable program, with a June vacancy anticipated if no immediate opening is found.
Chicago shipping foreman William Parilli 34 was arrested and charged with felony theft after selling 1300 cases of Cracker Jacks containing 144 boxes each for 8900 to undercover agents. Authorities linked losses to a pattern and noted possible Mafia theater sales.
