Woman Dies in Rural Norwalk Area Collision
Norwalk police report Dennis G. Stower 23 stopped at Garden on Garden and began crossing East Main into the path of westbound truck driven by Ray Mullins 27. Stower and his car spun to a tree lawn after impact. Mullins and two passengers were treated for injuries at Fisher Titus Memorial Hospital and released. Stower charged with failure to yield. In a separate incident a van driven by Clyde Emmons 22 struck a car after a wide turn onto Foster Street injuring Karen McLoney 16 who refused treatment.
