New X-Ray Unit Opens in Chicago Traffic Court Lobby
The Tuber culosis Institute of Chicago and Cook County opened a stationary X-ray unit in the City of Chicago Traffic Court lobby at 321 N. LaSalle to expand year round free chest X rays. The Municipal Tuberculosis Sanitarium physicians will read films and the unit marks the second Loop installation. The institute notes the Traffic Court site will help detect more TB cases early, shortening hospital stays and speeding recovery.
