Cincinnati residents urged to register for June school levy vote
Cincinnati residents must register to vote in the June 14 school tax levy election. A mobile registration van operates May 26 noon to 7 PM at Scroder Junior, 3500 Lumford Pl. Deputized principals will register May 31 to June 2 at Shroder Junior High, Kennedy Elementary, Pleasant Ridge Elementary, and Silverton Elementary. Hours 3:30 to 7:30 PM with daytime options by calling the schools. The Board of Elections remains open daily 8 AM to 4 PM. Saturdays 8 to noon at 622 Sycamore St. If you moved or have not voted since 1974, you must register.

Historic Concord School closes with farewell June
Concord School in Indian Hill will house its last student when doors close in June due to enrollment decline. The building, the first in the consolidated district formed in 1936, hosted the first PTA and auditorium, and served K 8 before current consolidation plans. A June 1 farewell fling with a hoe down will feature student performances, reminiscences, and recognition of the final class members.

Girl Scout Troop 963. pandiscape girls. Adelta Neighborhood Girl Scouts honored for selling 900 boxes of cookies per scout. Ten to nineteen year olds earn a trip to Camp Ross Trails the first weekend in June. They visited a game last Friday using bakery funds.
