The Simon Brothers lay a 66 by 75 foot one story warehouse on East Front Street with track frontage and fourteen foot ceiling. It will house two Simon rooms and two rental units and includes ample driveway space for distribution, aiding North Platte growth. The shop hours note a noon Friday close for all Union Barber Shops. Mr. and Mrs. William Thompson visited the city Monday.

Guy Drake Killed in Local Yards Accident
Guy Drake a Union Pacific switchman was killed yesterday morning when caught between a string of cars while coupling. A passenger engine reportedly bumped the string as a switch engine stood at the other end. Drake died minutes after being rushed to a hospital. His body was taken to York Nebraska for burial after his brother arrived from out of town. his parents reside in Kearney.

A North Platte Aircraft Co. aeroplane damaged while performing stunts at Julesburg fair. The plan had the plane drop a rope ladder to a man in a moving auto on the race track. Lincoln County Fair Opens With Base Ball Tournament
The Lincoln County Fair opens today at the Fair Grounds for the Eighth Annual session. Adult admission is 60 cents for the first three days and one dollar Friday. 50 cents for the Brand stand during the first phase, rising to a dollar on Friday. Four baseball teams Hershey Stapleton Brady North Platte compete this afternoon. Free attractions include school bands and local acts. Thursday features auto races and a big wrestling match. Friday highlights auto races and a three-heat North Platte Special with $4,000 in prizes. Various dances and music accompany daily events starting at 1 p.m.
