Coyotes Threaten Calves Across Cottonwood and Goslin Areas
Coyotes are unusually plentiful in Cottonwood and Goslin precincts and have killed many calves, hitting Pete Burke and Julius Resig hardest with eight and fifteen to eighteen calves lost respectively. Canyons feeding into the Platte valley are their haunts, with packs roaming to raiders stables and chicken houses.
