North Platte Council Hears Light Company On Street Lighting
At the meeting last Tuesday Williy Todd general manager of Union Light and Power Co spoke on street lighting improvements for North Platte. He said fixtures could be installed to provide light at every crossing, noted underground wiring costs and an $75 000 upgrade plan, but Council postponed action due to funding and delivery hurdles. The Intica Boy Scouts Band visited from Denver after a London trip celebrating World War 1 veterans.
