North Platte Telephone Co Expands Central Office
The North Platte Telephone company ordered new central office equipment from Western Electric through C. R. Baldwin. The two position toll and former line switchboard will be installed within sixty days at an expense near 1600 dollars. The move follows rapid local growth from no exchange twelve years ago to about a thousand phones now with extensive toll lines in Lincoln County.
