Court house bid openings end with all bids rejected
The Board of County Commissioners with the County Clerk and County Treasurer opened bids for materials and construction of the new courthouse and rejected all as too high. The lowest bid was 192000 and did not include heating plant architect's fees and incidentals. No further action was taken. A baby girl was born to Mr and Mrs Clinton Detter at their home yesterday.

North Platte Dominates McCook in 28–0 Football Victory
The North Platte team defeated McCook 28 to 0 in a hard fought game started at three. Shaner recovered kickoff and Locke scored the first touchdown at twenty seconds. Locke then added a later score on a sixty five yard pass. Over a hundred North Platte fans attended the match.

Edison reproduces Miss Dann recital with phonograph
The cornet and violin solos with piano were reproduced by the Edison machine during a Dixon Music Shop organized recital. The Edison phonograph, owned by Chester C.
