The Board of County Commissioners with the County Clerk and County Treasurer opened bids for materials and construction of the new courthouse and rejected all as too high. The lowest bid was 192000 and did not include heating plant architect's fees and incidentals. No further action was taken. A baby girl was born to Mr and Mrs Clinton Detter at their home yesterday.
