North attle High School Frees Thirty Four Diplomas

Graduation exercises at North Attle High School held in Franklin Auditorium honored thirty four graduates in cap and gown. Speakers included salutatorian Theodore Payne and valedictorian Chester Cumming with alumni address by Sybil Gantt. Diplomas were presented by board secretary Mrs. Harry Cramer as the class celebrated strong records and credits.

Meeting for Second Ward taxpayers on 1920 valuations and taxes

North Platte residents oppose proposed valuation increase

One hundred eight First Ward residents met at the school building to discuss valuations and form a committee to contest a proposed increase exceeding fifteen percent. County Assessor Allen faced sharp criticism as speakers urged protest before the county commissioners or court action. a Second Ward meeting is planned at the courthouse tomorrow evening.
