Artz in Burlington service says he is progressing. H Otten left for Nampa Idaho to look over country for fruit farm. Volunteer Fire Dept to Assemble for Cemetery Decoration
All members of the Volunteer fire department are asked to assemble at the Second ward hose house at 9 30 a m on Sunday May 30 in dress uniform to march to the cemetery and decorate graves of deceased members. Members able are urged to bring flowers by order of the chief.

New UP Time Card to Affect Three Trains This Sunday
A new time card goes into effect on Union Pacific Sunday affecting three trains No 11 arrives about forty minutes earlier No 12 about thirty minutes earlier and No 4 about twenty minutes earlier. Rumors of trains 13 and 1d running through to Julesburg or Sidney are unfounded. Trainmaster White proposes a combined passenger and freight train between here and Sidney to run on schedule time. Acceptance of the recommendation is not yet known.

Commencement exercises conclude after baccalaureate on Sunday and class days Monday and Tuesday. Chancellor Davidson of Wesleyan University spoke on The Man of the Hour, suggesting evolution theory.
