North Platte High School to Hold Graduation at Franklin Auditorium
Graduation exercises for North Platte High School will be held at Franklin Auditorium on Saturday May 8 at 8 o'clock. Thirty one graduates will receive diplomas by the Board of Education with class president Julius Moga introducing speaker Representative Reavis of Nebraska. A ten cent admission will be charged to control crowding. a free class day program will be held Friday at 2 20 p m for pupils.

State Farm Boys Top Methodist Young Men 3–2 In Comeback
The State Farm team defeated the Methodist Young Men 3 to 2 last Thursday evening after six o'clock at State Farm. Batteries were Kronquest and Donegan for the Farm and Pitman and Walters for the Methodists. Spectators called it a real game with ample action.

Memorial Day Camp Fire And Parade In North Platte
Joint committees of patriotic groups meet to plan a campfire in Franklin Auditorium Monday at 3 o'clock with program to be announced. Parade forms at 9:30 at the courthouse and proceeds to the cemetery for G A R and W R C ritual services. All civic groups asked to participate in the parade.

Local Camp Fire Council 18 seeks a sanitary camp site near The Points at the river junction. Inspectors found sewer outlet proximity made water unsafe for work and bathing and that nearby garbage dumps could endanger the area. Council accepted the findings and will pick another site.

High School Doys Camp Life Week Near End of School
The Cadet Band and Cadet Company from the local high school plan a week long camping trip in the new Gothenburg park. They have raised some funds but much remains from personal assessments to cover expenses. The group departs May 30 and will stay as long as the camp lasts.
