M E Church Dedicated Entirely Free of Debt
North Platte Methodists dedicated a remodeled church debt free after spending 25000. Bishop Stuntz preached in morning and lectured on South America in the evening as over 1500 attended. The plate collected over 450 to cover the remaining balance, with donations ensuring full relief of debt. The modern edifice seats about 540 with additional rooms and a model kitchen and dining area.

Mrs A O Kocken Passes Away In North Platte
Mrs Christine Kocken wife of A O Kocken died this morning after months of heart and stomach illness. Born in Sweden 1842 she came to the United States in 1860 and to North Platte in 1875 where she raised children and served in the Lutheran church. Survived by husband sons Walter and Will missing address and several daughters including Mrs S W VanDoran Mrs Lottie Cronin and Misses Margaret Ada and Miss Arta. Funeral at the Lutheran church Thursday at 2 30 conducted by Rev Harman with Methodist ladies hosting a reception at the Methodist church Wednesday.
