County commissioners heard a petition to change road No. 240 in the Fox Creek area and granted it with changes after a hard fought contest. Petitioners N F House and Alvin Feather argued the canyon route, while remonstrants R L Ryan and Thomas Peterson, with attorney M E Crosby, urged leaving the road on the hill to better serve people and avoid hay meadow loss.
