George Finn oversees the grounds with a focus on cleanliness and order including a central building, toilet and shower facilities, and coal stocked stoves. Little Tots to Be Trained in Ward Kindergartens

Stanton youth tops State Declamatory Contest humor class
Wiss Ellen Erickson returned from Stanton Nebraska where she is contestant in the humorous class of the State Declamatory Contest. A boy from Stanton won first honors and a gift from Arcadian won second. Actual making of ice began at the new million dollar Pacific Fruit Express Co plant yesterday. The facility, long in building, saw an experimental fee and a preliminary test of the machinery.

Tarnival Company Opens For One Week Of Amusement
The Anderson and Stadley Shows, brought to North Platte by the Volunteer Fire Department, set up at Seventh and Dewey last night after stops in Kearney Columbus Hastings and a stretch toward Sterling before the coast. The company travels in nine cars with about 100 on staff and features a Giant Captive Seaplane among its attractions while inviting families to visit.
