County Field Meet Champions and Standings

North Platte wins Hastings district track meet laurels
In the Hastings meet North Platte high school athletes earned top honors. Ralph Alden won the mile, Cunningham captured the 100 yard dash and bronze in the 220 yard dash, Jim Lambert finished fourth in the half mile, Jay Smith tied for third in high jump, with medals and ribbons awarded. Alden and Cunningham are eligible for the State High School meet in Lincoln next Friday but exams prevent their entry.
