Railroad News From Omaha to Oshkosh Inconsistent Reports
Tom McGovern ran business in Omaha for days while Dick Williams traveled to Denver to receive veteran status for twenty five years in the Knights of Pythias. The North River branch sent seventy nine cattle cars, forty hog cars, twenty four hay cars, five corn cars, twelve rye and three wheat cars. Tracklayers have not reached Broadwater. North Port is thirty two miles west of Oshkosh and fourteen miles east of North Port. Chas McNamara, now assistant engineer on the Wyoming division, transfers to Omaha due to Mrs McNamara’s dislike of Cheyenne climate.

Pathfinder Car Arrives in North Platte for Glidden Tour
The Pathfinder from Detroit to Denver reached North Platte at 10 30 yesterday with a Denver Motor Club pilot car meeting at Dennison Lawn. The party included Dai H Lewis W A Krohn and George Meinziger with the pilot car team C P Allen and K W Spangler L W Slater. They travel toward Julenburg La Salle and Denver with 160 mile daily goals and no night travel. Local arrangements for a hearty reception are planned. Mr Lewis also contracted for one thousand gallons of gasoline.
