Negro Arrested With Ten Pints Of Booze
A man named Reuben Rasborough, detained on train No. 4, carried ten pint bottles of liquor. Sheriff Salisbury filed the information and Rasborough pleaded guilty before Judge Woodhurst, fined $100 plus costs, and remanded to jail for lack of funds.

Return from Convention Set in Lincoln County
B Crippen Pvt Joline Antoni des and Cpl O B Senenu returned Sunday evening from the state convention of the American Legion held at Lincoln. Lt Carl Stebbins, a delegate, went to Missouri Valley to visit his rolike. Capt Victor Halligan and Sgt Leonard Robinson were chosen to represent Lincoln county at the national convention in St Lola on the 9th and 10th of this month. The local organization will be active and urges every service member to enroll. Watch for next meeting announcements.

Hospital Train Carries Wounded Across Country to San Francisco
An eight to ten car United States hospital train toured Sunday night en route to San Francisco carrying two hundred wounded and convalescing soldiers. A medical staff and two nurses accompanied from New York City. Three cars housed the most ill on cots while others offered seating. flowers adorned berths. Officers occupied the rear cars with visitors barred.
